In this time of sacred confusion and divine chaos, ceremony and ritual are powerful ways that we can positively contribute to this lived experience. In these alchemical portals, we become more aware of our connection to and as everything. It has an effect, an outcome, a result. It invites us to be even more conscious of everything that we do.
Incorporation of Ceremony, Ritual & The Elements in our lives is a radical act – “from the root" – bridging intention and consciousness, weaving with the mystery and spirit itself.
Ceremony and ritual give us the opportunity to consciously bridge those worlds and to weave in a way that is very much part of our ancient DNA as multi-sensory, multi-dimensional beings – in the world but not of the world.
Ceremony
Ceremony is a standalone experience – a microcosmic experience that symbolizes and ritualizes a macroscopic journey through something.
The Elements
Physical elements are the matter that create all life. We are made of these elements. They each have a consciousness. Each represented on the greater wheel. Each alive and expressing at every moment.
Ritual
Rituals are repetitive and consistent acts of devotion and celebration, whereas ceremony is very much about demarcation of thresholds and transformation, alchemy, and is comprised of a unique constellation of rituals inside of a ceremony.

Marianne Mitchell is deeply committed to cultural healing, Earth reconnection, and serving others to access authenticity, intuition and spiritual essence. She lives and teaches weaving ceremony and ritual in our every day lives as acts of devotion and spiritual connection. She deeply honors the Divinity that expresses as All and embodies life as a living prayer. She seamlessly weaves between the seen and the unseen worlds, dipping into her immense toolkit of modalities and listens to soul wisdom with the inner ear while holding a deep space of healing and revelation. She is a mama, seer, priestess and rooted ceremonialist who nourishes community connections, deep nature connection, ancestral healing and intuitive awareness. She is a student of plant medicine spirits, star beings, the Earth and her baby girl.
She is a trained spiritual counselor, energy medicine practitioner and guide in the realm of women’s mysteries and rites of passage. Marianne weaves over 15 years of training and immersion in diverse healing arts to support individuals and groups to remember more fully who they are. Marianne has been leading groups, classes, retreats and trainings since 2010. She has led hundreds of circles and community ceremonies for over 12 years.
She lives in traditional Cherokee lands known as Western North Carolina with her husband and daughter, 6 hens, vibrant plant life and feline familiar.
